Healthy fats
The
fats in fish consist primarily of OMEGA-3 polyunsaturated fatty
acids that are beneficial to your health. They slow the blood
coagulation process and decrease blood pressure thereby reducing
the risk of cardiovascular disease. Ideally, we should eat fish at
least twice a week. Fatty fish such as: tuna, salmon, trout,
swordfish, mackerel and herring contain more omega-3 than leaner
fish.
