At the 24nd annual Opération Enfant Soleil telethon, held June 4 and 5, Metro presented a cheque for $72 188.50, a record amount for the company. The Metro, Metro Plus, and Super C banners all decided to give Opération Enfant Soleil 50 cents from every purchase of any size of Simply Kids diapers, 100% Petit. The one-year fundraising campaign, which ran from June 1, 2010, to June 1, 2011, was a great success.

Opération Enfant Soleil is a non-profit organization that raises money to support the development of quality pediatric care for children across Quebec. This year, the organization raised $17 221 000 at its 24nd annual telethon.
