GrilRouge Angus: Requirements for excellence
- GrilRouge Angus beef is aged a minimum of 14 days which makes it exceptionally tender. Like fine wine, beef improves with age and special care!
- GrilRouge Angus beef is perfectly marbleized. It is filled with thin filaments of fat that melt while cooking, which ensures incomparable flavour and tenderness.
- Only 20% of all Angus beef make the GrilRouge cut because they meet all the strict standards of breeding, marbling, texture, colour and ageing.
- And everyone knows that Canadian beef is renowned worldwide for its quality.
It’s time to taste it!
Here are a few
tips on how to obtain flavourful, tender and juicy meat:
- Season to taste but do not salt the meat.
- Grill in the oven, in a pan or on the grill at medium-high heat.
- Do not prick the meat with a fork.
- Turn with tongs once or twice only.
- Cook to the desired degree of doneness.

Beef: nutritional food
The Canadian Guide to Healthy Eating recommends you eat two to
three 75gram cooked portions of meat or meat substitute every
day.
Beef is an excellent source of:
- iron: one of the best sources. The iron content in red meat is very easily absorbed by the body as opposed to iron from vegetable sources.
- zinc, an essential nutrient for healthy growth.
- proteins, helping repair and build tissue.
- vitamins B3, B6 and B12, which respectively help produce energy, form red blood cells and maintain nerve cells.
Bon appétit!
