Montreal, June 14, 2004 – For the third year running, METRO INC. is proud to sponsor the 2004-2005 Weekend Pops series of concerts by L'Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal (OSM). The first series of concerts, on November 19 and 20, marks the 25th anniversary of the rock opera “Starmania”. The event will feature Quebec's finest lyrical voices.
In addition to contributing, Metro will also promote the concert series in an online contest at www.metro.ca. This undertaking is yet another example of Metro's commitment to the Montreal and Quebec community.
