March 23, 2005 - Montréal Welcomes the 48th Metro Plus Supermarket

(Montréal, March 23, 2005) On March 22, Mr. Bernard Lemay, owner, opened his new Metro Plus store located at 3000 de la Rousselière Blvd. in Montréal. Numerous dignitaries, guests and customers attended the opening ceremonies.

Thanks to a major investment, customers can enjoy shopping at the Metro Plus de la Rousselière, a new, warm and modern store. The 36,000-sqaure-foot Metro Plus also created 150 new jobs.

Walking up and down the supermarket's aisles, customers will discover a big and friendly store with a wider range of products and services all under one roof, including a great variety of fresh fruits and vegetables, a large assortment of deli meats, fine cheeses and dairy products, a broad range of frozen foods and a sizeable selection of prepared foods.

Mr. Lemay, who has been in the grocery business for 20 years under the Metro banner, takes great pride in presenting the community with a magnificent new supermarket equipped to provide an extensive range of products in a pleasant environment where friendly, courteous and professional service is always the rule.
