(Montreal, November 1, 2005) - Super C, a division of METRO INC., is pleased to officially open its brand-new discount supermarket at 4545 Auvergne Boul. in Neufchâtel. Following construction work that required investments in excess of $6.8 million, the 54nd store in the Super C chain in Québec boasts a shopping area of over 46,000 square feet.
The Neufchâtel Super C will continually provide neighbourhood residents with a vast selection of food products, as well as non-food items, at affordable prices. “Super C is the discount supermarket that offers super prices every day,” enthused Johanne Choinière, Senior Vice-President and General Manager, Super C. “We've spared no effort to ensure that we provide prime-quality products at discount prices all under the same roof, in a friendly environment where grocery shopping is pleasant, quick and easy. But that's not all: Super C is differentiating itself even more with the introduction of a new store concept—updated logo, dynamic image and new colours—that offers a “market” zone (coloured green), where shoppers will find all the store's fresh produce, and a “depot” zone (in orange), home to the groceries section,” she added.
