La Baie, Tuesday April 11, 2006—The Brunet branch formerly located at 1022 rue Bagot, owned by pharmacists Régis Côté, Élaine Gobeil, and now Joël Bouchard, is moving on to bigger and better at a new location at 435 rue Albert, former home to Le Consommat. The La Baie Medical Clinic, currently at 293 rue Onésime Côté, will join the pharmacy a few days later.

Over $1 million has been invested in this project. “The clinic and pharmacy used to be located on different sites. With the move, they will be right next to each other, which will be more convenient for customers,” indicated Mr. Régis Côté, co-owner of the Brunet branch.

The pharmacy alone will occupy 6,000 square feet of the 10,000 sq. ft. building. The considerably more modern and much more spacious new location will offer a wider variety of cosmetic products, in addition to its natural products, books & relaxation area, and orthopedic sales and rentals. Two new departments will also be added: products for people with diabetes and a digital photo counter offering photo development in under a minute.

Owned by METRO RICHELIEU INC., the Brunet banner is celebrating its 151st anniversary this year. Much of its incredible growth is due to its continual efforts to improve the products and services it offers. In the coming years, Brunet plans to open a number of outlets, all offering its unique and inventive take on the pharmacy world.
