(Montreal, July 6th, 2006)– The Plouffe family is proud to announce the acquisition of the Metro Plus in Rock Forest, located at 4801 Bourque Boulevard. In fact, it is with great pleasure that the Plouffe family joins the community of Rock Forest and continues to evolve within the Metro group.

In July 2005, following major renovations and an investment of 3.5 million dollars, the Metro Rock Forest became a Metro Plus and contributed to create 15 new jobs in the area.

The Plouffe family has been actively involved in the food industry for over 51 years and is the owner of the Metro Bedford, Metro Farnham, Metro Plus Magog, and most recently, Metro Plus Sherbrooke. In the course of the years, this family has differentiated itself by its dynamism and passion for the food industry and has demonstrated an ability to overcome challenges.
