(Drummondville, July 14, 2006)—On Saturday,
July 15, the pharmacy at Centre professionnel Lemire located at
2125 boul. Lemire will officially join the Brunet family, bringing
the number of Brunet outlets to 112.
“Our pharmacy has been open for two years already and our clientele
appreciates the personalized service and helpful advice we provide.
But we wanted to improve on our products and services in order to
meet specific customer needs and keep pace with the changing
pharmaceutical market while at the same time maintaining our
personalized approach—something Brunet allows us to do,” explained
pharmacist and owner Marie Tétreault. New store sections include a
cosmetics and natural products section, a specialized section for
diabetics, and a photo counter with 12 second digital photo
development. A new electronic cash register system has also been
put in.
The expansion—which virtually doubled the size of the pharmacy from
2,780 sq. ft. to 4,823 sq. ft.—required an investment of some
$500,000 and created five new jobs.
Owned by METRO RICHELIEU INC., the Brunet banner is celebrating its
151st anniversary this year. Much of its incredible growth is due
to its continual efforts to improve the products and services it
offers. In the coming year, Brunet plans to open a number of new
outlets, all offering its unique and inventive take on the pharmacy
world.
