(Montreal, December 7, 2006) – Super C, the best discount store, is pleased to announce the opening a new store located at 100, First Street in Thetford Mines. It was officially inaugurated during a formal ceremony held last night, and attended by a number of dignitaries and guests. The realization of this important project required an investment of more than $ 700 000 dollars and created 56 new jobs in the area, in addition to the 33 existing ones.

Part of the latest generation of Super C markets, the new 17 000 plus square foot store will feature the new logo, the new colours and the new “Market” and “Depot” sections. Customers will find very competitive discount pricing, a better variety and quality products, a new and improved meat counter with the service of butchers on site, a bakery facility, and a larger fresh produce section.

Mr. Rémy Hébert, Store Manager of the Super C Thetford Mines and his team, welcome the community to visit and discover the new Super C.
