October 17, 2007 - SUPER C COMES TO VARENNES - INVESTMENT OF 3.4 MILLIONS DOLLARS AND CREATION OF 80 NEW JOBS
(Montreal, October 17, 2007) – Super C, the best discount store,
unveiled last night its newest store in Varennes, located at 59,
L’Aqueduc, in Metro’s former premises.
The realization of this important project required an investment of 3.4 million dollars, and created 80 new jobs in the area.
The 28 000 square foot supermarket will offer a “Market” section featuring a wide range of fresh produce along with a “Depot” section for grocery products. Customers will also find a new and improved meat counter with the service of butchers on site, departments of frozen and grocery products, a bakery facility, and a larger fresh produce section.
Mr. Yves Trudeau, Store Manager of the Super C Varennes and his team, welcome the community to visit and discover the new Super C.
Super C is a leader in the discount supermarket sector and employs more than 4,600 people in the province of Quebec.
