Etobicoke, ON April 23, 2007 – Guelph residents can experience a new Food Basics store at 3 Clair Road West at the corner of Gordon Street beginning Wednesday, April 25, 2007. The new store offers price savvy customers a practical assortment of quality grocery, produce, dairy and meat products all at low, low prices.

“We are pleased to bring another discount grocery shopping location to Guelph and to provide more shoppers with the Best Prices Everyday on over 8,000 products,” said Doug Brummer, Senior Vice President, Marketing and Corporate Development. “Customers will be impressed by Food Basics’ selection of low-priced fresh and grocery items designed to complete their everyday shopping needs.”

The new 27,000 square foot store is clean, bright, easy-to-shop and features Food Basics’ latest décor package and layout. In addition to traditional fresh and grocery items, customers will find two unique shopping aisles; one dedicated to a wide array of International Foods and the other stocked with healthy food choices.
