Coaticook, Thursday, August 16, 2007—On August 12, the Brunet banner officially opened its 115th pharmacy, in Les Perles de l’Estrie shopping center at 65 rue Wellington in Coaticook. Previously under the Uniprix banner, this new store is owned by pharmacists Claire Nadeau Lavoie and Jean-Marc Lavoie.

The 6,500 sq. ft. pharmacy will offer the same line of services as other Brunet store, including a nurse who provides footcare services Monday to Friday with or without an appointment; as well as blood pressure, blood glycemia, and blood cholesterol monitoring services. What’s more, a vast range of cosmetics and perfumes, including the Lierac, Vichy, and Lise Watier lines, plus Art Vitality’s hair color products—a Brunet exclusive—are available. The store also offers an on-the-spot digital photo printing station.

Owned by METRO RICHELIEU INC., the Brunet banner is celebrating its 152nd anniversary this year. Much of its incredible growth is due to its continual efforts to improve the products and services it offers. In the coming year, Brunet plans to open a number of outlets, all offering its unique and inventive take on the pharmacy world.
