(Montreal, September 27, 2007) – Messrs. Pierre and André Leblanc, affiliated owners of Marché Leblanc Montée Paiement Inc., officially inaugurated their new store located at 435, Montée Paiement in Gatineau, during a formal ceremony held last night and attended by a number of dignitaries, guests and clients.

Thanks to an investment of eleven million dollars, Messrs. Pierre and André Leblanc are pleased to offer their customers a new, modern and friendly store covering a total of 50 000 square feet, a project that has contributed in creating 160 new jobs in the area.

Customers shopping at the Marché Leblanc Montée Paiement Inc., will find the very best food the world has to offer. Browsing through the supermarket’s aisles, consumers will discover a large and friendly store providing lots of services and products under one roof. Among other things, shoppers will find a flower shop, an important selection of delicatessen meats, fine cheeses and dairy products, a complete variety of imported goods, an important assortment of prepared foods, a well garnished fish counter and a nice display of fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as a Bio and Health products aisle. Furthermore, the patrons shopping at Marché Leblanc Montée Paiement will be able to enjoy a place to relax in the Bistro and could even organise a small gathering in the new community room available to them.

The Leblanc family has been actively involved in the food industry for over thirty years starting with Mr. Jean-Marie Leblanc in St-André Avellin. Since the opening of their first store, the Leblanc Group owns 9 Metro supermarkets in the Gatineau region.
