(Montreal, November 21, 2007) – Mr. Daniel Landry, affiliated owner of Metro Plus Candiac, officially inaugurated his new expanded store located at 50, Montcalm North in Candiac, during a formal ceremony held last night, and attended by numerous dignitaries, guests and clients.

Thanks to an investment of over 4 million dollars, Mr. Landry is pleased to offer his customers a new, modern and spacious store covering a total of 43 000 square feet, a project that has contributed in creating 20 new jobs in the area.

Customers shopping at the Metro Plus Candiac, will find the best food the world has to offer. Browsing through the supermarket’s aisles, clients will discover lots of services and products under one roof. Among other things, shoppers will find a new “Aki sushi” shop, with sushi master preparing excellent sushi on premises, also an important selection of delicatessen meats and fine cheeses, as well as a complete assortment of ready to eat meals prepared on site. Fish aficionado will be pleased to find a larger selection of fish from around the world. To add to the list, the Metro Plus Candiac will now offer a new personalised pastry shop where pastry chef will decorate your favourite cake.
