(Montréal, September 4, 2008) – After several
months of intense activity, the expansion of Metro Plus
Pointe-Claire, located at 325 Montée St-Jean in Pointe-Claire, is
now completed. The project represented an investment of more than
$4 million, and will allow the creation of 20 new jobs.
Philippe Birdjandi, franchise owner, is proud to present to his
clientele the new image of his supermarket, which now covers a
total surface area of 35,000 square feet, and boasts the new Metro
Plus concept and décor.
Metro Plus Pointe-Claire will offer its clientele the ultimate
supermarket experience. While browsing the store’s aisles,
customers will discover an even broader variety of grocery
products. In the meat department, experienced butchers will be on
site to answer questions about different cuts of meat. The fruits
and vegetables department has doubled in size, and a pre-cut
counter has been added. In terms of refrigerated beverages, the
beer fridge now boasts an impressive selection of imported beers.
Metro Plus Pointe-Claire customers, who are often short on time,
will be more than satisfied with the abundance of table-ready
meals. Furthermore, starting in October, Metro Plus will offer
Sushi Aki prepared on-site by a sushi master. In the pastries and
bakery section, in addition to showcasing Irresistibles pies and
breads, a pastry chef will be on site to prepare delicious cakes
for all occasions.
Mr. Birdjandi is pleased to present the Pointe-Claire region
population with a magnificent supermarket with friendly décor,
where warm, courteous, and highly professional service is front and
centre. Mr. Birdjandi and his entire team invite the public of the
region to come and meet them to discover an absolutely unique
grocery shopping experience.
