(Montréal, September 11, 2008) – Officials, guests and customers joined owners partners Mr. Gaétan Riendeau and his two sons Gabriel and Mathieu last night to officially inaugurate the region’s newest store, the Marché Riendeau Beloeil Inc., located at 1030 St Jean Baptiste in Beloeil.

With this $12 million investment, Messrs. Riendeau look forward to offering customers a warm and modern food store covering 43,000 square feet and providing 140 new jobs in the region.

The Marché Riendeau Beloeil plans to offer its customers only the finest available products in the food sector. Customers strolling through the aisles will discover a brand new store featuring a wide range of grocery products. A glance at the fresh produce section will reveal a large variety of fresh fruit and vegetables, a tremendous selection of deli meats and fine cheeses along with an Aki sushi counter, offering fresh sushi prepared directly on site by our master sushi chef. At the Marché Riendeau Beloeil Inc., customers on the go will appreciate the abundance of pre cooked meals, while seafood enthusiasts are sure to enjoy the fine selection of fish. Also available, a range of organic products along with the Health & Beauty department, which offers customers a variety of health and beauty products priced to compete with pharmacies. A brand new, high quality water section is also available to our customers, along with a bakery featuring mouth-watering pastries and bread. Finally, a Bistro corner will give customers a chance to sit back and relax.
