November 20, 2008 - A new Metro Plus in Victoriaville - Metro's 82nd store opens to residents' delight
(Montreal, November 20, 2008) – Victoriaville residents can now find solutions to their varied and growing food needs with the opening of the 82nd Metro Plus, located at 435 Jutras Blvd. East. At the 42,000-square-foot store, customers will be able to enjoy:
  • A counter with fresh sushi prepared in store every day
  • A wide variety of Quebec cheeses
  • Many organic products
  • Meat, fish and seafood sections
  • “Viandes et Idées” counter
  • A tasty variety of balanced, home-cooked meals prepared in store by a chef
  • A pastry counter
  • An international products section

Not only will customers find a wide array of choices for their daily meal needs, but they will also find a large selection of brand-name beauty and health products at prices comparable to those in pharmacies.

Metro has invested $8 million in this new store, which has a warm and inviting decor. It will create 115 new jobs.

Pierre James, owner of the Victoriaville Metro Plus, has been working in the food sector for 25 years. He and his team would like to invite area residents to come meet them and discover a unique food shopping experience.
