November 27, 2008 - The new St-Augustin-de-Desmaures Metro Plus opens its doors - A $10 million investment

(Montreal, November 27, 2008) – With the construction of the new Metro Plus on l’Hêtrière street, the residents of St-Augustin-de-Desmaures will find more solutions to their varied and growing food needs. The new 43,000-square-foot Metro Plus, located at 3525 de l’Hêtrière street, will offer:

A counter with fresh sushi prepared in store daily
A wide range of cheeses
Many organic products
Meat, fish and seafood sections
“Roast Grill Ideas” counter
A tasty variety of balanced, home-cooked meals prepared in store by a chef
A pastry counter
An international products section

Not only will customers find a wide array of choices for their daily meal needs, but they will also find a large selection of brand-name beauty and health products at prices comparable to those in pharmacies.

Metro has invested $10 million in this sleek new store, which will generate 50 new jobs in addition to the 50 existing ones.

Yannick Lefebvre, owner of the Metro Plus, and his team invite local residents to drop by their store to enjoy a completely unique food experience.
