Etobicoke, ON October 20, 2009 – Brampton
residents are set to experience “Always More For Less”, when the
new Food Basics store opens today at 8910 Highway 50 at 8:00 a.m.
The newly built store offers price savvy customers an expanded
assortment of quality grocery, produce, dairy and meat products all
at low, low prices.
“We are pleased to bring another Food Basics store to the Brampton
and Bolton areas and give price and quality conscious shoppers
another location to find discounted items at great value,” said Bob
Seguin, Vice President, Discount Operations East. “We’re confident
customers will be impressed by the new store and wide selection of
low-priced items designed to complete their everyday grocery
shopping needs.”
The newly built 35,000 square foot store features the design
concept and layout Food Basics began unveiling earlier this year
with bright interiors and easy-to-navigate aisles. Customers will
find conventional grocery items, private label brands and a wide
assortment of fresh produce, meat, dairy plus much more.
Food Basics saves customers money on their grocery bill by carrying
only the best selling brands and products complemented by
low-priced products. The stores use simple fixtures and displays to
lower costs and buys direct from suppliers in large quantities. All
this adds up to greater value for shoppers.
To mark the unveiling of the new store, customers are invited to
enjoy great price specials available until Wednesday, October 28th.
This new Food Basics location has created an additional 130 jobs
for the Brampton community. Hours of operation are 8:00 a.m. –
10:00 p.m. seven days a week.
Since 1995, Food Basics has been helping customers save money on
their grocery needs by providing Always More For Less. Food Basics
