(Montreal, November 19, 2009) – Last night,
Gaétan Riendeau and his sons Gabriel, Mathieu and Simon, affiliated
owners of the Metro Plus Famille Riendeau, officially opened their
newly renovated store located at 345 Honorius-Charbonneau Boulevard
in Mont-Saint-Hilaire. With the renovations completed, local
residents will be able to find a better selection of produce and
groceries to meet their food requirement.
The store now extends over an area of 33,500 square feet, an
increase of 5,000 square feet.
The Metro Plus Famille Riendeau now offers:

- An innovative fresh fruits and vegetables department;
- An international products aisle;
- A master butcher and a gourmet fish counter;
- A larger variety of Red Grill Angus Beef;
- A wider selection of imported and micro-brewed beer;

- Great selection of coffee and tea;
- A greater assortment of organic products;
- Hundreds of health and beauty products at very competitive prices;
- A bakery counter where fresh breads are baked daily.
Thanks to a $4 million dollar investment, the Riendeau family is
pleased to offer customers a supermarket with a modern and
welcoming atmosphere. In addition, over 40 new jobs were added to
the 85 existing jobs.
