(Montreal, January 28, 2010) – Louise Marquis, Nelson, Frédéric and Martin Thibeault, affiliated owners of the Metro Plus Famille Thibeault in Blainville, are proud to announce the grand opening of their new supermarket. Now located at 1260 Curé-Labelle Blvd. in Blainville, just steps away from the old store, this new supermarket offers local residents a broader selection of products:
- Fresh sushi counter with an offering prepared in store by a master sushi chef;
- New international products section;
- Wider range of Quebec and imported cheeses;
- A master butcher and a gourmet fish counter;
- A wider variety of grocery items;
- A large selection of fresh fruits and vegetables department;
- Expanded choice of organic and gluten-free products;
- Hundreds of competitively priced health and beauty products;
- Pastry counter stocked by the esteemed Boulangerie Pâtisserie Dagobert.
The relocation project required a major investment by the
Thibeault family and increased the supermarket to almost 48,000-sq.
ft. The new store now employs 127 people from Blainville and the
surrounding areas.
With its warm, inviting decor and easy access to a wide range of
high-quality products, shopping at this newly renovated Metro will
be even more enjoyable. "It's important for us to continually offer
our loyal customers superior selection and quality products at the
very best prices," stated Frédéric Thibeault.
The Thibeault family and their team invite local residents to drop
by their store to enjoy a truly unique food shopping
experience.
The Thibeaults have been grocery store owners since 1981 (formerly
Metro Élite). They also own two other Metro Plus stores in
St-Jérôme, on Mgr-Dubois Street and on boul. des Laurentides.
