St-Félicien, February 4, 2010 - Last night,
Dany Boutin and Carole Tremblay, affiliated owners of Metro Marché
D. Boutin in St-Félicien, located at 1200 St-Félicien Boulevard,
were proud to welcome Lac St-Jean residents to their newly expanded
supermarket. Thanks to an investment of over $5.5 million, the
store has gone from 16,000 sq. ft. to 25,400 sq. ft., and
approximately twenty new jobs have been created, in addition to the
existing 65 positions.
The new Metro supermarket stands out for its "boutique-style"
design, which promotes closer contact with the customers and allows
for more personalized service. It also sets itself apart from the
competition with its innovative design and a superior range of
products, including:
- A wide variety of grocery items;
- A variety of balanced, home-cooked meals prepared in store by a chef;
- A selection of cut fruits and vegetables;
- A wide range of Quebec and imported cheeses;
- A master butcher and a gourmet fish counter;
- Numerous organic and gluten-free products;
- A self-serve counter offering chicken wings and seafood in bulk;
- A modern bistro area where customers can enjoy a relaxing cup of coffee;
- A pastry and chocolate counter.
The product range also includes a vast choice of ready-to-eat
items. The bistro area has Wi-Fi access and a place where customers
can eat a fresh, home-made meal.
Mr. Boutin, Ms. Tremblay and their team would like to invite the
residents of St-Félicien and the surrounding area to come meet
them, and discover a unique food experience, in a warm and friendly
setting, in line with customers' latest preferences.
