Through its subsidiary McMahon Distributeur pharmaceutique inc., the Company is involved in the distribution of pharmaceutical and parapharmaceutical products throughout Québec. It supplies directly pharmacies, food supermarkets and health-care institutions, including hospitals and treatment centres.

In addition, McMahon is also franchisor of the Brunet and Clini-Plus banners. In recent year, the Brunet and Clini-Plus pharmacies have continued their expansion and the network now comprises 179 drugstores and pharmacies.

The pharmacies operate under Pharmacy and Drug Basics banners with 80 locations across Ontario in select Metro and Food Basics grocery stores.

The Brunet  banner, with its 136 stores including 25 newly launched Brunet Plus, is a franchisee of the McMahon Distributeur pharmaceutique inc. subsidiary and operates medium-surface drugstores. In the past few years, Brunet has developed a name in the orthopedics market by offering, among other things, a complete orthopedic equipment sale and rental service. The banner also frequently organizes health days for customers, hosted by health professionals.

The Clini-Plus banner promotes the concept of the neighbourhood pharmacy, whose pharmacists favour a customer-focused approach and personalized service. At Clini-Plus, the pharmacist advises each customer on the basis of his or her personal file, using reference tools that ensure accurate identification of the side effects that may be caused by the use of prescription or over-the-counter medications.

Drug Basics is a full-service pharmacy and offers customers professional services such as health reminders, medical profiles, blood pressure monitoring, medication and syringe disposal, as well as drive-through service in select locations. The Pharmacy banner is exclusively located in select Metro grocery stores. The Pharmacy is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient-focused care. Professional pharmacy services include personalized medical profile, medication waste and syringe disposal, blood pressure monitoring and a diabetes patient care program. The Pharmacy also organizes a variety of health days for customers.
