Metro is proud to partner with Aliments Quebec and its "Always The Right Choice" campaign, featuring Quebec foods.

Foods from Quebec (Aliments du Québec) definition Any product that is entirely from Quebec or whose principal ingredients are of local origin and for which all transformation and packaging take place in Quebec.

Foods prepared in Quebec (Aliments préparés au Québec) Any product for which at least 50% of the ingredients are from Quebec and for which at least 80% of production, transformation and packaging costs are spent in Quebec. If the principal ingredient of the product is not available in sufficient quantity or quality in Quebec, it can be sourced elsewhere. In this case, all of the transformation and packaging activities must take place in Quebec.
