Lobster is a high-protein, low-calorie and low-fat nutritional bonanza, rich in potassium, zinc, and niacin (B3). It also contains a fair amount of cholesterol, concentrated mainly in the head, which is rarely eaten. Watch out for the sauces, mayonnaise or butter that often accompany lobster, adding considerable lipids and calories!
