Recipe ingredients
- 1 red onion, chopped
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) butter
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) oil
- 1 lb. (450 g) ground beef
- 1 green pepper, diced
- 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) Chili powder
- 1 cup (250 mL) diced canned tomatoes, drained*
- 2 1/4 cups (540 mL) canned red beans, drained*
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
In a pan, sauté the onions in butter and oil.
Add the ground beef and sauté for 5 minutes.
Add the rest of the ingredients, bring to a boil and simmer 10 to 15 minutes
Suggestion
For a Mexican taste, add red peppers, corn and rice.* We recommend Selection and Irresistibles products.
