Quick Maple Syrup Pie

Recipe ingredients
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) cornstarch *
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) cold water
- 1 1/2 cup (375 mL) maple syrup*
- 1 cup (250 mL) 35% cream *
- 1/3 cup (80 mL) chopped walnuts *
- 1 unbaked pie shell.
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 400ºF / 200ºC.
In a bowl, dilute cornstarch in cold water.
In a pan, put all filling ingredients. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly and remove from heat.
Add nut, mix well and pour filling into pie shell.
Bake at 400ºF / 200ºC 15 to 20 minutes.
