Recipe ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp. (45 mL) butter
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) thinly sliced mushrooms
  • 3 Tbsp. (45 mL) flour
  • 1 1/2 cups (375 mL) whipping cream
  • 5 2.5-oz (75-g) tins lobster meat
  • 6 slices (6 slices of) rye bread

Preparation

In a large frying pan, melt the butter and brown the garlic and mushrooms.
Sprinkle with flour, stirring well. Add cream and simmer over low heat until sauce thickened.
Add lobster meat and heat 2 to 3 minutes.
Serve over rye bread.
