Recipe ingredients

  • 4 veal chops
  • Marinade
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) orange juice *
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) soy sauce *
  • 1/4 cup (60 mL) vegetable oil *
  • 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) brown sugar *
  • 1/2 tsp. (2 mL) Irresistible ground ginger
  • 2 chopped garlic cloves
  • 2 tsp. (10 mL) cornstarch *
  • Vegetable brochette
  • 8 radishes
  • 8 mushrooms
  • 16 snow peas

Preparation

Marinade
Mix all the marinade ingredients.
Marinate the veal chops in a large bowl in the refrigerator for 1 hour.


Veal chops
Preheat the barbecue to medium.
Place the veal chops on a oil grill and cook 15 minutes depending of thickness.


Vegetable brochette
Soak the skewers in cold water for 30 minutes.
Skewer a radish, a mushroom and 2 snow peas on each skewer.
Grill on the barbecue.

Suggestion

Do not salt meat before cooking
to prevent it from toughening.
