Recipe ingredients
- 4 trout fillets, 4 to 5 oz (120 g to 150 g) each
- 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) extra virgin olive oil*
- 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) white wine
- 3 Tbsp. (45 mL) chopped mixed fresh herbs (chive, parsley, tarragon)
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 lemon, sliced
Preparation
Preheat oven to 180°C/350°F.
Baste trout fillets with olive oil.
Put the trout fillets on a sheet of aluminum foil.
Cover fillets with remaining ingredients and surround with lemon slices.
Fold and seal aluminum foil. Bake until fish is no longer glossy.
Suggestion
Marinate trout fillets 1 hour before cooking to enhance their flavour. For a Mediterranean touch, use rosemary marinade. For a sharper taste, try ginger marinade.* We recommend Selection and Irresistibles products.
