Recipe ingredients
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) breadcrumbs*
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) finely chopped almonds
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) dried thyme
- 2 tsp. (10 mL) dried sage
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 fresh trout fillets, 4 to 5 oz (120 to 150 g) each
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) lemon juice
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350°F/180°C.
Combine breadcrumbs, almonds, thyme and sage in a bowl. Season.
Put trout fillets in a lightly oiled ovenproof dish.
Cover trout fillets with seasoned breadcrumbs and sprinkle with lemon juice.
Bake uncovered 8 to 10 minutes at 350°F/180°C until flesh is no longer glossy.
