Recipe ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. (225 g) Irresistibles frozen pre-cut snow crab legs*, thawed
  • 1 papaya, diced
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) diced celery
  • 1/3 cup (80 mL) slivered almonds, toasted
  • 1/4 cup (60 mL) diced green pepper
  • 3/4 cup (180 mL) canned diced pineapple*, drained
  • 1/4 cup (60 mL) shredded coconut, toasted
  • Dressing
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. (5 mL) Irresistibles curry powder*
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

Break crabmeat up into pieces.
In a glass bowl, mix crabmeat with other ingredients. Refrigerate mixture for 20 minutes.
In a glass bowl, mix dressing ingredients together and stir in crab mixture. Sprinkle with coconut.
Serve Hawaiian crab salad in a carved out pineapple.
