Recipe ingredients
- 1/2 lb. (225 g) Irresistibles frozen pre-cut snow crab legs*, thawed
- 1 papaya, diced
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) diced celery
- 1/3 cup (80 mL) slivered almonds, toasted
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) diced green pepper
- 3/4 cup (180 mL) canned diced pineapple*, drained
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) shredded coconut, toasted
- Dressing
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) mayonnaise
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) lemon juice
- 1 tsp. (5 mL) Irresistibles curry powder*
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
Break crabmeat up into pieces.
In a glass bowl, mix crabmeat with other ingredients. Refrigerate mixture for 20 minutes.
In a glass bowl, mix dressing ingredients together and stir in crab mixture. Sprinkle with coconut.
Serve Hawaiian crab salad in a carved out pineapple.
