Recipe ingredients
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) Irresistibles extra virgin olive oil*
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) chopped mixed fresh herbs(rosemary, thyme, chervil, parsley)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 x 5-6 oz. ( 4 x 150-180 g) horsemeat tournedos
- 2 tsp. ( 10 mL) butter*
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) Irresistibles extra virgin olive oil*
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) beef consommé*
Preparation
In a bowl, mix the oil, herbs and garlic.
Baste the tournedos with the fine herb mixture.
In a pan, sear the tournedos on both sides in butter and oil. Set aside.
Deglaze the pan with the consommé and simmer for a few minutes.
Coat the bottom of the plate with the sauce and serve the tournedos.
Suggestion
Horsemeat can be used and prepared in the same way as beef.* We recommend Selection and Irresistibles products.
