Recipe ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) butter
  • 6 fresh chicken paupiettes, 4 to
  • 5 oz. (120 to 150 g) each
  • 1 tsp. (5 mL) chopped garlic
  • 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) cream cheese
  • 1 cup (250 mL) hot chicken bouillon
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

In a frying pan, brown paupiettes in butter 5 to 7 minutes per side. Remove and keep warm.
Melt butter in a saucepan. Add garlic and heat without browning. Whisk in flour and cook 2 to 3 minutes.
Whisk in cheese and hot bouillon.
Cook 5 to 6 minutes, until sauce thickens.
Pour over paupiettes and serve.
Buttered noodles and leeks with your choice of dressing.
