Recipe ingredients
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) flour*
- 8 lamb chops 1 in. (2.5 cm) thick each
- 1 medium egg*, slightly beaten
- 1 tsp. (5 mL) fresh lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) melted butter*
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) breadcrumbs
- 3 Tbsp. (45 mL) sesame seeds
- Powdered oregano* to taste
- White pepper* to taste
Preparation
Preheat the barbecue to medium.
Lightly flour chops.
In a bowl, mix egg, lemon juice and melted butter.
In another bowl, mix breadcrumbs, sesame seeds, pepper and oregano.
Dip each lamb chop in the egg mixture, then in the sesame mixture.
Grill chops about 4 to 5 minutes per side or to taste.
Suggestion
Dip lambchops in the egg mixture, then in the sesame mixture, refrigerate 1 hour. Serve with zucchinis halved lengthways, brushed with oil and grilled on the barbecue.* We recommend Selection and Irresistibles products.
