Recipe ingredients
- 4 salmon steaks
- Juice of 2 limes
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) dry sherry or beef broth*
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) chopped gingerroot
- 2 tsp. (10 mL) soya sauce*
Preparation
Prepare the marinade by mixing lime juice, sherry or broth, ginger and soya sauce in a small bowl.
Lay the salmon steaks in a shallow dish.
Pour the marinade over the salmon, cover and marinate 1hour in the refrigerator.
Preheat barbecue to medium heat.
Place salmon steaks in a grill basket or foil paper.
Normally, 5 to 7 minutes per side should be sufficient.
Suggestion
Fold edges of steaks over and secure with toothpicks so that they don't curl up during cooking.* We recommend Selection and Irresistibles products.
