Recipe ingredients
- 2 red peppers
- 2 green peppers
- 1/2 Hungarian pepper
- 1/2 red onion
- 3 Tbsp. (45 mL) Irresistibles extra virgin olive oil*
- 2 cups (500 mL) red wine
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) Irresistibles white balsamic vinegar*
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) Irresistibles maple syrup*
- 1 tsp. (5 mL) juniper berries
- 1 tsp. (5 mL) Irresistibles coriander seeds*
- 5 Irresistibles black peppercorns*
- 1Irresistibles bay leaf*
- 1 Irresistibles pinch thyme*
Preparation
Clean, scoop out and mince the peppers.
Add wine, vinegar and maple syrup.
Tie spices and herbs into a cheesecloth bag, add.
Simmer until syrupy.
Remove spice bag. Cool.
Suggestion
If you don't have cheesecloth, use a coffee filter.* We recommend Selection and Irresistibles products.
