Recipe ingredients
- 4 veal chops, 2 1/2 cm (1 in.) thick
- 125 mL (1/2 cup) olive oilIrresistible*
- 45 mL (3 Tbsp.) balsamic vinegarIrresistible*
- 2 garlic cloves, chopped
- 15 mL (1 Tbsp.) chopped fresh thyme
- 30 mL (2 Tbsp.) chopped flat leaf parsley
- 120 g (4 oz.) blue cheese
- Three-Pepper Salad
- 1 red pepper, diced
- 1 green pepper, diced
- 1 yellow pepper, diced
- 2 stalks celery, diced
- 1 red onion, diced
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 30 mL (2 Tbsp.) chopped flat-leaf parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
Put chops in a dish. Add remaining ingredients, except cheese and refrigerate for 2 hours.
Meanwhile, mix three-pepper salad ingredients together and let stand.
Drain chops and cook about 3-4 minutes per side or on the BBQ
(medium heat) cook about 5-8 minutes per side
Top each chop with a slice of blue cheese before serving.
