Recipe ingredients
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) butter
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) oil
- 1 lb. (450 g) pork strips
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 Spanish onion, finely chopped
- 3 tomatoes, diced
- 1/2 tsp. (2.5 mL) curry
Preparation
In a frying pan, heat butter and oil.
Brown strips, garlic and onion.
Add tomatoes and curry.
Cook 10 minutes.
Suggestion
To sear white meats well, the butter and oil should be nut-brown.Origin: Creole
