Recipe ingredients
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) chopped shallots
- 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) butter*
- 2 tsp. (10 mL) flour
- 3/4 cup (180 mL) 2% milk
- 3/4 cup (180 mL) grated smoked Caciocavallo
- 3/4 cup (180 mL) grated Provolone cheese
- 3/4 cup (180 mL) grated Brick cheese
- 3/4 cup (180 mL) grated St-Fidèle cheese
- 3/4 cup (180 mL) grated Parmesan cheese
- Freshly ground pepper to taste
Preparation
In a pan, brown shallots in butter over medium heat.
Add flour and cook 30 seconds, stirring.
Add milk and stir until thick.
Turn heat down to low, and stir in cheeses.
Add freshly ground pepper to taste.
Serve immediately.
