Recipe ingredients
- 4 fresh boneless pork chops, 1 1/4 in. (3 cm) thick each
- 4 slices yellow cheddar cheese
- 4 slices white cheddar cheese
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) herbs
- 4 mini-brochettes
- 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) olive oil
Preparation
Preheat BBQ to medium.
Slit the chops through the side to make a pocket.
Insert cheese and herbs; close opening with a skewer.
Oil chops and cook 6 to 10 minutes, turning from time to time.
To oven-cook
Preheat the oven to 370ºF (185ºC).
In a hot frying pan, sear pork chops on each side.
Finish cooking in the oven 15 minutes.
