Recipe ingredients
- 2 cups (500 mL) fine wheat granule (couscous)
- 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) irresistibles extra virgin olive oil*
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) Irresistibles curry powder*
- 1 cup (250 mL) cubed pineapple
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) chopped chives
- 1 1/2 cup (375 mL) chopped red pepper
- 2 cups (500 mL) chicken broth8.
Preparation
In a casserole dish, combine all ingredients.
Bring to a boil and cook about 5 minutes or until couscous swells.
Remove from heat; cover and let stand about 5 minutes.
Stir and serve on a platter.
Suggestion
Add slivered almonds, chick peas, broccoli, carrots and turnip.Origin: Moroccan
