Recipe ingredients
- 2 cups (500 mL) chick peas, soaked 24 hours
- 1 1/2 tsp. (7 mL) table salt
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) vegetable oil
Preparation
After soaking the chick peas, rinse and cook about one hour, drain, spread on paper towels to dry at room temperature, about 8 hours.
Spread chick peas in an oven dish and coat with oil. Add salt and mix well.
Oven roast about 75 to 90 minutes at 300°F / 150°C stirring from time to time.
Cool and store in an air-tight jar.
