Recipe ingredients
- 2 cups (500 mL) chick peas, soaked and cooked
- 3 Tbsp. (45 mL) water
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) lemon juice
- 1 to 2 cloves garlic
- 1/3 cup (80 mL) plain yoghurt
- 1/2 tsp. (2 mL) sunflower oil
- 2 tsp. (10 mL) table salt
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) fresh chopped parsley
- 1 tsp. (5 mL) sesame seeds, optional
Preparation
Run all ingredients gradually through the blender until puréed.
Pour in a serving dish and garnish with fresh parsley.
Serve hot or cold with bread or crackers.
Suggestion
To use as a dip, add a bit more water, lemon juice and yoghurt.* We recommend Selection and Irresistibles products.
