Recipe ingredients
- Dressing
- 1 tsp. (5 mL) Dijon mustard*
- 1/2 tsp. (2 mL) sugar*
- 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) orange juice*
- 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) Irresistible white wine vinegar*
- 1 tsp. (5 mL) each: dried mint and thyme
- 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) olive oil*
- Salt and white pepper to taste
- Salad
- 4 cups (1 L) red leaf lettuce, washed and torn up
- 1/2 red onion, sliced very thin
- 1 red pepper, diced
- 1 cucumber, diced
- 2 stalks celery, sliced
Preparation
In a small bowl, mix dressing ingredients together.
In a salad bowl, combine lettuce, onion, red pepper, cucumber and celery.
Add dressing to salad and toss to coat all ingredients. Serve immediately.
Suggestion
Replace dried mint and thyme with 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) each fresh mint and thyme.* We recommend Selection and Irresistibles products.
