Recipe ingredients
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) chopped French shallots
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) butter*
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) dry white wine
- 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) dry vermouth
- 2/3 cup (150 mL) beef broth*
- 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) lemon juice
- Pepper
Preparation
In a medium-size saucepan, lightly brown shallots in butter. Add wine and vermouth mixture by half. Add beef broth and lemon juice. Reduce from half and season. Serve
