Recipe ingredients
- 2 lb. (1 kg) pork in small cubes
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 tsp. (2 mL) onion salt
- 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) allowed oil (non allergenic)
- 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) brown sugar
- 1 28-oz. (796 mL) can cubed peach with the juice
- 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) soya sauce
- To taste cornstarch
Preparation
Brown pork in oil with the onion and seasoning.
Add brown sugar, peaches with their juice and soya sauce.
Let simmer slowly for 1 hour.
Thicken if desired with cornstarch diluted in cold water.
