Recipe ingredients
- 8 sausages of choice*
- Dijon-style Mustard Sauce
- 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) extra virgin olive oil*
- 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) raspberry vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) Dijon-style mustard
- 2 garlic cloves, chopped
- 1 sprig of rosemary, chopped
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) 15% table cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
Pierce the sausages, blanch 5 minutes, drain and dry.
In a saucepan, place all the ingredients for the Dijon-style mustard sauce.
Bring to a boil while stirring constantly. Set aside.
In a hot frying pan, fry the sausages over low heat, turning them often, until they are cooked.
Mask the sausages with the Dijon-style mustard sauce.
Suggestion
Replace the Dijon-style mustard with green pepper mustard.Sausages must be cooked to the centre before being consumed. As cooking is completed, slit a sausage to make sure no pinkish colour remains.
