Recipe ingredients
- 4 oz. (115 g) goat cheese spread
- 2 dried figs, cut in small pieces
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) olive oil*
- 1 tsp. (5 mL) balsamic vinegar*
- 1/2 tsp. (2 mL) basil, finely chopped
- Pepper to taste
- 1 baguette bread, sliced diagonally
Preparation
Remove cheese from refrigerator and let stand a few minutes at room temperature.
Place all ingredients except the baguette in a small glass bowl.
Let set in the refrigerator for an hour.
Place the garnish on the slices of bread.
Suggestion
Replace dried figs with pieces of dried apricots.The bread may be grilled in the oven beforehand.
